Most people open an age calculator for a simple question: how old am I today? Enter the date of birth, keep the second date on today, and the result gives the age without rounding it to only whole years.

Age in years is easy, but months and days can look odd near the end of a month. February, April, June, and other months do not all have the same number of days.
That is why the calculator uses actual calendar dates instead of assuming every month has 30 days.
